About the Role:

One of our top clients is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HomeCare Director of Clinical Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse (RN) with a strong background in home care, specifically private pay and Medicaid. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of pediatric and geriatric care, along with the ability to manage complex clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight:
    • Oversee the delivery of high-quality home care services.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including Medicaid.
    • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular chart reviews and audits.
    • Manage clinical staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Patient Care:
    • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Business Operations:
    • Manage the financial aspects of the home care business, including budgeting and cost control.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a positive and supportive work environment.
    • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve organizational goals.
    • Resolve conflicts and address employee concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Registered Nurse (RN) degree required. LPN may be considered with significant home care experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in home care, with a strong focus on private pay and Medicaid.
  • Skills:
    • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in electronic health records and other relevant software.
    • Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and qualification processes.
